Boys Brigade Camp at Frisco

Not much is known about the Boys Brigade of Pittsburgh or their camp at Frisco. The Boys Brigade was founded in 1883 in the United Kingdom and was based upon Christian values. It combined military drill with Bible studies. Several companies of the Boys Brigade were formed in major U.S. cities in the early 20th Century. Initially, their uniforms resembled Federal Civil War uniforms.
